The regular October meeting of the Freeborn City Council will be held Monday night, October 8, at 7:00 in the Community Room of the Freeborn City-Township Building. All are invited to attend. Among the topics of discussion is information about the possible upgrade of the city’s water distribution system. Jeff Dale of Minnesota Rural Water and Wes Brown of Bolton and Menk, Inc., have been invited to attend to speak about possible funding sources for thisproject.
There will be a public meeting to share information about the upcoming Operating Levy for the United South Central Public Schools on Sunday afternoon, October 14, starting at 2:00 pm. Members of the USC School Board and the Levy committee will be the featured guests. The meeting will be held in the Community Room of the Freeborn City-Township Building.
